Starting a new thread so as not to clog the suggestions thread can I make a small suggestion regarding those 'never' attainable Silmarrillion etc. figures. If you want them purely to have as 'raw' original figures from Mithril then this is probably of no use, BUT, if you want finished figures, dioramas, vignettes etc. and don't care about the source material then why not convert figures into your dreams. I have done this with some of the figures (using 'Silmarrilion' based figures to represent latter day day LotR subjects and vice versa) produced to date (although not necessarily still available) and if this is a 'means to an end' so be it. One figure that could easily become the 'Great' Feanor himself is the Celebrimbor special - simply add aSilmaril in his hand and there you have it. This might be a bit flippant for those who are not confident to change a figure but it can be done (and no I haven't yet). There are various elf females including Goldberry (curtsying) that can be made to be Luthien Tinuviel, Nimrodel or whoever. The possibilities are there, it just depends on how you view the final result. Some of these ideas are on my 'bench' to do, I just don't know when as time passes by. Regards, David

not to mention, as I told, that a series involving elven personnalities in regal costumes, during the Council of Elrond could be used as Noldor elves too, (Glorfindel on foot, Erestor, Galdor maybe) After all, it is often believed that Glorfindel from the LOTR is the same as Glorfindel from Gondolin, thus the aspect of elves of this age is the same.
Same, if not even easier to convert some of the men from the whole mithril range to be some men of Legend like Beren or Tuor why not? (By chance, the Turin series is already covered so no problem with this one)
