There were two tied winners from the 1st round and amazingly three more tied for 2nd place. There is no point in having a diluted final round with five contenders so I will stick with the two tied winners to go forward. This will be an open vote and will last until December 2nd as Dec 1st is a Sunday. You will always be able to see the current state of the poll so vote wisely. Even if you had not supported the ideas previously, pick your favourite now, and don't be afraid to comment below. There are plenty of undecided voters out there and a good argument for one idea may sway them and win the day. Every vote counts.

Question: are there groups that coordinate to vote for a specific suggestion to make it happen?
Within less then 24 hours the "undead captain" went from 8:8 to 18:8
Edit: Now 20:9, but thats beside the point. At a 50:50 partition the chances for 10 votes going in one direction is 1:1024.

Dunno. Are there? Can't see the point myself, though I do recall a cartel of voters attempting it a decade ago. Personally, since I want both figures I just tossed a coin to make my decision!

I've neither paid members nor solicited votes for the 'Captain of the Dead' so nothing of my doing . As I didn't see your edited 'rant' Axel, I can't comment on it other than to guess that another suggestion of the Dead was not welcome. That said, I seem to recall some while back, possibly after the release of the last Undead figure, that a lot of members expressed a desire to have seen a regular range of the soldiery of the Dead, so maybe that's the reason. I doubt members of the forum would 'band' together to deliberately 'oust' one suggestion in favour of another. Maybe, just maybe, the choice is popular in its own right (wasn't there a recent winner that won by a very large margin?).

in this case I think the Dead Rider is the more interesting figure though I also like both suggestions.

We do have a Gandalf on shadowfax and we do have lots of Gandalfs. What we don't have are a lot of dead on horses. For me it's the better choice for sure!

By the way, if I could coordinate votes there would be a warg attacking a Rohir in this pol now.👍😉

Popular it certainly is, but still the row of 10 votes without a single deviation in a very short time was statistically significant.
That said, and seeing that the race is done, I really have to say that I fail to see the attractivity of undead horses or skeletons, especially regarding Tolkiens work. I doubt that anything put into form can create the feeling of fear that the army of the dead should carry. From the ten suggestions this winner is - to me - with a large margin the least attractive, and the only reason I will ever buy it is to keep my collection complete.
Voting block or not, this month - one of the very few mounted - shows that the preferences or visions of this group regarding Tolkins world and my own seriously differ. Not sure yet what this means to me...

I'm sure no-one did it deliberately just to upset you, Master Axel. It's just one of those mathematical quirks that occurs from time to time (for instance, like all the times I proposed figures month after month after month before they ever won (I think my record is about 13 months in a row.) Put it down to sod's law and try the Gandalf-and-Pippin combo again next month.

Master Axel wait until you see Master Daines diorama of the dead. As for myself, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished diorama. 😀

alas, now it might be the time to inform you here that I do not take part in the votings any more for quite a while by now (because of several reasons) - - - so I cannot be blamed to have intrigued against any suggestion here ... well, Axel, that's what I did: I stopped to complete my more than complete collection - there's no space in any of my glass cabinets any more and not room enough in one of the two rooms where I keep good-old Mithril-miniatures

That's very sad. I'd noticed your name had stopped appearing here a while ago, Master Tree, and I'm now saddened to hear you confirm that you've stopped participating. Great shame. Personally I shall continue to make suggestions and vote for as long as I can while there are worthy figures Mithril has yet to produce, of which there are currently many.
