Sorry for the delay in starting. Easter holidays had disrupted plans a bit. Anyway we have the first round and nearly all ideas passed except for the King Theoden vignette idea for reasons that it is a vignette.
We will have the 2nd vote next Tuesday (26th) for the finalists. This is a blind vote so you will not see the current status until after voting.
As usual please add comments to support your favourite idea, even if you never submitted the idea personally. There are always going to be undecided voters that a clever pollster can influence with some context, images or humour.

Going in again... The Herald of Dawn!
“Gandalf did not move. And in that very moment, away behind in some courtyard of the City, a c0ck crowed. Shrill and clear he crowed, recking nothing of wizardry or war, welcoming only the morning that in the sky far above the shadows of death was coming with the dawn.” While there is no mounted hornblower of Rohan in sight, I go for the second best, the cockcrow that preceded the horns and on its own already broke the spell of doom that Sauron had cast over Minis Tirith and the world. So, just a rooster, crowing. The Herald of dawn! On a suitable base, perhaps a fence, the remnants of a statue or a heap of old turnips or whatever is devised by Chris. EDIT: And while we were talking about the gallic rooster... EDIT2: Do NOT try to find images of a rooster in the internet by searching for "c0ck". Just don't... Especially not when you are not alone. EDIT3: Remember to delete the browser history after if you did so against my advice.

Theoden at War Council King Theoden sitting in an ornate chair meeting with Gan-Buri-Gan , listening intently, helmet on lap. Possibly a three part sculpture with Woses- part 2 and Eomer- part 3.

I would like to resuggest this character:
Gamling's grandson at Helm's Deep
I don't think his name is mentioned, but Gamling himself was in charge of the forces defending Helm's Dike, and his own grandson was one of the defenders. Gamling's words were: "Maybe we have a thousand fit to fight on foot, but most of them have seen too many winters, as I have, or too few, as my son's son here."
So it should be a young guy, maybe in a mailcoat a bit too long for him.

resuggestion:
Bill the Pony with baggage - in movement
there is another - fourlegged - 'member' of the fellowship, who is missing in the fellowship range and also as an addition to the new fellowship boxed set: Bill the Pony.
Yes, we have him as a standing version with Sam feeding an apple to the animal (M393 Sam with Bill the Pony - from Village of Bree range ) and nearly the same pose with laden baggage (LR34 Bill the Pony)
My suggestion is to have a single miniature of Billy 'on the move / journey' means walking or trotting, laden with all the baggage of the fellowship. No need of a leading Hobbit figure, we have plenty of them, I think
Bill the Pony was bought by Frodo in Bree from Bill Ferny, after whom he was named (strangely). The high price of twelve silver pennies! for the half-starved Pony was paid by Barliman Butterbur. When bought, Bill was a bony, underfed and dispirited animal, but under the care of Sam Gamgee (and surely the influence of Elronds house in Rivendell, where he was taken with by Strider and the 4 Hobbits) he became healthy and happy. Bill bore Frodo part of the way to Rivendell, and was later used by the fellowship of the Ring as a pack animal. Set free outside the West-gate of Khazad-dûm, Bill eventually found his way back to Bree. There he was recovered after the war of the Ring by Sam, who darely loved him. Sam took him to the Shire and rode him to the Grey Havens, when Frodo and Bilbo were leaving Middle earth.

I'm suggesting
A TWO-HEADED TROLL
...{again).
This figure is based on a passing remark by the narrator of "The Hobbit", when, describing the rough manners of the trolls who captured Thorin & Co, he says that "Yes, I am afraid trolls do behave like that, even those with only one head each." So, number of heads not actually stated, but clearly more than one, and two-headed trolls abound in Scandinavian mythology and folklore (they're actually more common than the one-headed variety), so it's safe to assume that two-headed trolls were what Tolkien had in mind. The two-headed variety were often (though not always) specifically referred to as Ettens (as in "Ettenmoors".
Chris could have great fun with this character. One idea would be to have one arm and head eating a horse-leg and the other wielding a club. Or whatever other combination takes his fancy.

A 'Night-Walker'
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King, The Black Gate Opens.
As the Captains of the West approach the Black Gate.... At nightfall of the fifth day of the march from Morgul Vale they made their last camp, and set fires about it of such dead wood and heath as they could find. They passed the hours of night in wakefulness and they were aware of many things half-seen that walked and prowled all about them, and they heard the howling of wolves…………
……. It grew cold. As morning came the wind began to stir again, but now it came from the North, and soon freshened to a rising breeze. All the night-walkers were gone, and the land seemed empty. This suggestion would be for a 'creature' created from Chris Tubb's imagination, as I would like to think of something (preferably) humanoid in stature, but neither man nor orc, nor even troll-kind, but maybe something that combined some elements of each, even, for want of a better comparison, something like a Middle-Earth version of a 'Bigfoot/Yeti'.
I suppose a Night-Walker could also be a wraith from one of the 'inhabitants' of the Dead-Marshes in the form of an elf, orc, or man, but I think this would possibly be too easily linked to the Dead of Dunharrow.

Vidumavi
Also known as Galadwen, she was the daughter of Vidugavia, the King of Rhovanion (LOTR Appendices)
"In T.A. 1248 Vidugavia, who was the most powerful of the Northern princes and called himself King of Rhovanion, helped Minalcar, the prince and Regent of Gondor in a war against the Easterlings.
Two years later, in T.A. 1250, Minalcar sent his son, prince Valacar, to live for a while with Vidugavia as an ambassador to learn the language, manners and policies of the Northmen. Valacar loved the Northern lands and people and married Vidumavi, the daugther of Vidugavia, during his stay in Rhovanion.[4] In T.A. 1255 Vidumavi gave birth to a son, who was named Vinitharya in the language of his mother.
In T.A. 1260 Minalcar recalled Valacar back to Gondor to take part in the councils of the realm and the command of its armies. Vidumavi was brought by her husband to Gondor with her children and a household of noble men and women from Rhovanion. They were welcomed in Gondor and Vinitharya was given the name Eldacar for public use in Gondor and Vidumavi agreed to be called Galadwen, a translation of her name into Sindarin.
Vidumavi learned the language and manners of Gondor well. Vidumavi was fair, noble and of high courage, which she passed on to her children. Although Vidumavi was short-lived compared to the longer lifespan of the Dúnedain,[4] she died in T.A. 1332 at a great age compared to the lifespan of her own people before Valcar became king"

While we are voting...
has anybody else noticed the crown on the shield of Eowyn on the planned release with the Fellbeasts head. Sorry for nitpicking, but would Dernhelm use a crown on his shield?

I suggested 10 times Vidugavia, the King of Rhovanion but as it seems his daughter will win this month...
