Thanks to all members who submitted or commented in the start of this months thread. We have some great ideas to vote on. Chris has 'OK'ed all of them so we can move ahead and start voting today. You have a week to take part. The 2nd vote will begin on the 24th and that will run until the end of this month. This is a blind vote so the current status will not be shown until after you submit your vote. This allows for as even an opportunity as possible for all entries to gain support.

Therefore, after we have chosen last month miss Vidumavi it will be completely stupid not to vote for her father. So my suggestion again is:
Vidugavia a prince of the Northmen, self-styled "King of Rhovanion" who ruled the lands between Mirkwood and the River Running area..... etc....
So dear fellowship, I expect a few votes from you.
Thanks, merci, danke, grazie, hvala, go raibh maith agat, gracias... etc...

Wose woman with baby in her arms.
Interesting to see the result of sculpting a figure of a woman and a Wose child. The Woses have always been a race from Tolkien's world that is most unknown and that has caught my attention the most.

You fellows should know my strategy by now. I shall keep suggesting
A TWO-HEADED TROLL
until I beat down all resistance and he wins! It's a tried and trusted method, and has worked for me several times in the past (However, I'm already feeling tempted to abandon my own suggestion and vote for Vidugavia.....)

Wainrider man with whip
The appendices mentioned incursions of the Wainriders in Gondor from 1851 TA, for almost a century. The appendices A mentionned that the Wainriders were a people, or confederacy, of Men from the East. They journeyed in great wagons, and their chieftains rode chariots in battle. In the Unfinished Tales, "Cirion and Eorl and the Friendship of Gondor and Rohan", it states that they camped in fortified camps of wagons. Their young women were also trained in arms, and they, along with old men and youths, stayed behind, able to defend their homes from attackers. The MZ670 Wainrider girl mounted is the very first miniature representing this people (2018 December votes). To complete, I propose another Gypsy member : a man this time. He is bearded and has long hair. His head could be covered with a bandana tied behind and he could wear a thick leather bolero, a wide fabric belt and boots. He could be armed with a whip that he wields in front of him and have a short scimitar passed through the belt.

Targon - Steward of the Butteries of The Citadel I think I have previously suggested this chap (obviously without success ), but let's give him another outing.Targon worked in the storehouse and buttery for Beregond's company in the Guard of the Citadel of Minas Tirith. He gave Beregond and Peregrin Took the last of the winter's store of bread, butter, cheese, apples, a flagon of new-drawn ale, and the wooden platters and cups they needed to eat.I see Targon as a slightly plump character (working in the Buttery must have its perks) and probably an older man, maybe he has served his time as a Guard of the Citadel and has now moved into a job that is reserved for senior members of The Guard. He would wear a leather jerkin with the emblem of the Tree on it, possibly a soft hat (as he is working with foodstuffs) and as per the description could be carrying a couple of large baskets that holds bread, apples, butter, cheese, in one and the flagon of ale, platters, and cups in the other.A simple figure, the type that Chris and Mithril excel at.

Lothlorien elf with lamp
They were clad in shadowy-grey, and could not be seen among the tree-stems, unless they moved suddenly. They stood up, and one of them uncovered a small lamp that gave out a slender silver beam. He held it up, loking at Frodo’s face, and Sam’s. Then he shut off the light again, and spoke words of welcome in his elven tongue. Frodo spoke haltingly in return.

Gollum and Smeagol
Smeagol-Gollum, while convincing himself that master is not (or is he) evil? Perhaps the final chance for him of redemption, but finally Gollum wins for master has betrayed him to the cruel humans, and "she" will help...
Not sure how you can put inner conflict into a small 28mm miniatures, but why not testing the mans skill here :-)
In short: this is but ONE mini...

Not sure how you can put inner conflict into a small 28mm miniatures, but why not testing the mans skill here :-) In short: this is but ONE mini... could be possible if Gollum/ Smeagol is sitting at a waterhole (part of the base). the reflection flatly sculpted IN the base can show the other aspect of the miserable creatures face... or soul. Or the stage when Hobbit Smeagol turns into Gollum...
