Thanks to all who submitted this months exciting new ideas. The amount of ideas generated by you, our loyal Fellowship members, after 5 years is staggering, and testimony to your indepth knowledge and commitment to the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
These 8 new ideas will be open to vote on until the 21st. This vote, as usual, will be 'blind'. You only see the current status AFTER you commit to vote for your suggestion.

I'm totally disappointed with current voting... 8 for an animal...It will be interesting to vote for animal world through some other ideas or suggestion. In middle earth are described other breeds not only wolfs / wargs.... and today we have another MS on newsletter warg but with orc on it... so what is different about warg or warg with unknown dirty orc scum... Gutlaf or Tarannon Falastur I will not spend money on another one wolf.... so go for the characters...

After the Balrog last month I DO hope for some support for the complement in the diorama, the dwarven prospector who is about to make the find of his life.

8 votes…not bad. However, I don’t want to see the great wolf holding his position. The Warg Leader is advancing constantly, and the only thing he's going to hold onto is rosy pink buttocks! That’s right! And that's without any whips too! He’s going to bite the competition where it hurts, and he’s going to shake the dinkle berries out of it! He will gnaw, rip and consume the opposition! After all, this is the time of monsters and beasts! TRICK OR TREAT EVERYONE! ;D The Hobbit movie is a go! It's the Battle of Five Armies all over again! Now let's vote!

My vote goes to Thorongil - Aragorn in the service of Ecthelion because you never can get enough Aragorn! How could I not vote for my own Avatar?

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk...I thought this might happen. Much like the support my beloved bowlegged minions of darkness receive, enthusiasm for the Warg was initially strong then quickly fizzled out. If you haven't noticed, Guthlaf is closing in, and he's not even on a blamed horse! Like some Arthurian character from Monte Python, he's running across a field now with two coconuts... and he's gaining on us! Come on! Eight votes is grossly inadequate! Stop admiring all those freshly painted hydrants (painted by that pesky dwarf prospector no doubt), and get your snouts out of your holes! Join up with the pack! There are only five days left to vote. If we lose this one, it's back to the den with your tails between your legs! On the other hand, if we win, it's Scooby Snacks for everyone! RRRET'S GRO! SCOOBY-DOO![/size] Okay, I'm being silly now.

Yes, the Isengard Wolf Rider is beautiful. He’s really moving! However, I’m not particularly crazy about the animal’s cute and relatively small head. Every time I look at the creature I just want to squeeze him! Seriously though, it‘s proportions are probably very realistic. It is likely how a Dire Wolf would have appeared in nature thousands of years ago. That is to say it would have had a much larger body, weighing in at 110 kg (240 lb), so visually it would seem to have a smaller looking head. One thing is certain, in Middle-earth the orc riders would have to be smaller than average. I would say 50 kg (110 lb) max. I just can’t see the Wargs carrying anyone heavier than that. Now the Warg Leader is a different animal altogether. He should tip the scales at close to 136 kg (300 lb). He’s got to be BIG. And if Chris is going to give him a small head, then I hope it’s a nasty looking one. I’m talking about the look of ambivalence. You know, the way a werewolf looks at you before he rips your heart out! So, to clarify, we are not talking about just another wolf on the run. If voted in, the Warg Leader should be as described: A ferocious looking beast, about the size of a black bear. His back is arched and the hair on his neck and around his shoulders is bristled. This beast really means business! He is Canis dirus, the alpha male, the pack leader, and the Lord of all Wargs!

I am afraid, I can NOT give another wolf the chance to see the daylight. Though I was pretty surprised of the current MS-miniature sculpted by The Man.
Fight men of Rohan, fight and blow those wargs away . . .

Hi Wolfs and wargs are not especially fine figures. Let Chris sculpt a nice elven maiden like Finduilas.
Cheers

Cheers Thijl Then it’s high time to make one!Unfortunately, there are no elven maidens on the menu my friend. Try these: M1 Galadriel (My Favorite Galadriel) M32 Princess Nirnadel (Classic Princess) Pm2 (Olympian Nymph )

And with that in mind: It’s straw hair and meatballs for lunch! WARGS ATTACK!BTW, thanks for the 9th vote! That keeps the Warg Leader ahead by a nose! SNIFF! SNIFF! SNIFF! ;D

Since when is Princess Nirnadel of elven blood?
She belongs in the Tharbad range Isn't she a fine young Arthedain lady?
So many pictures were put in to show how the Wolf/Warg could look like, BUT it will NOT look like those shaggy wolf miniatures from other manufacturers for it is Mithril style here. and I bet Chris will not copy something. And I'm glad about that.
I really like wolves, having even the same familiy name, but I will also NOT support this miniature, sorry.

Curvaceously delicious isn’t she? Honestly, I couldn’t find any information on her character in any of my books, so I thought her name was a typo of some sort. A fine miniature nevertheless. Could be used as a kind of "full figured elf" don’t you think? You may also be right about Chris’ stylization of the Warg. Still, I think he could impress upon this Warg a drop or two of "shaggy fierceness". No need to apologize. Most members decide early on which ideas they will support….and which ones they will oppose. I’m really surprised the Warg made it this far. Thanks.

Sadly the Hobbit movie still isn't a go at all, so I also ride with Guthlaf. "We’ve seen these reports before, reports saying there was going to be a greenlight in a couple of days — well, a week’s gone by and there isn't one. You can't believe everything you read. There is only one thing you want to believe and that’s when the studio announces a greenlight. As far as I'm aware that’s not going to be today. I keep hearing positive things. Everyone's working very hard.... MGM is a company that is about to go bankrupt and in a way they are about to take The Hobbit into bankruptcy hell with them when they go down. Warners are trying to extract The Hobbit out of the bankruptcy hell before it happens. It is just so complicated I can't even put my head into it. It’s all to do with American copyright laws, bankruptcy laws. A lot of Warner Bros. lawyers are working round the clock at the moment trying to make it happen so let’s see." Delays! Delays! It’s just a matter of time now. Have patience Ian. It will happen. And now on to more pressing matters. Sooooooooooo, you ride with Guthlaf eh? You had better bring him a horse then. He is on foot this time…making great headway!

The tide is turning. The spear tips of Rohan are upon us. The little orcs attached to us impede our progress. Shake them off now! Regroup! Prepare to fly at Rohan’s throat! Leave none alive, less they rise again to attack us! Yes, Guthlaf and the Warg are neck and neck. Man vs. Beast. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Who will win this classic battle? Attention all you ghostly members! If you truly exist, come forth and vote for your favorite idea! No one wants to win by a hair or lose by a slim margin. Let’s give the victorious one the crushing majority! Numbers! Numbers! I want to see more numbers!!! AROOOOOOOOOO!!!

Blood flows freely from the Warg's mortal wounds. Limbs grow increasingly heavy and are slow to respond. Patches of earth and detached grass cover its great disheveled form. The warm saltiness in its mouth is the taste of defeat. Mortally wounded, yes, but its fleeting life force persists. Soon it will all be over...The End is near...The End is near... UNLESS...
