Really like the idea of the Willowman But will it not be too small for a single figure? Mornedhel

indeed Michael notes:
"Now the final countdown, there can ONLY be one winner, or Chris will simply choose from a tie."
But I would prefer to get both figurines done. ;D
It's in the hand of Chris.

Goldberry murmuring to water in the river Withywindle.[glow=red,2,300][/glow]
Goldberry is in the river, water up to knee, raising her skirt with one hand. She is bending over the river flow and touch the surface with the other hand.

Hi
I came back with my idea of Beren and Luthien Tinuviel as their story is related in LOTR (see text below) and so in your copyright. I would really appreciate a scene from The Lay of Leithian when Luthien and Huan just defeated Sauron and rescued Beren.
Thijl
Strider sighed and paused before he spoke again. 'That is a song,' he said, 'in the mode that is called ann-thennath among the Elves, but is hard to render in our Common Speech, and this is but a rough echo of it. It tells of the meeting of Beren son of Barahir and Luthien Tinuviel. Beren was a mortal man, but Luthien was the daughter of Thingol, a King of Elves upon Middle-earth when the world was young; and she was the fairest maiden that has ever been among all the children of this world. As the stars above the mists of the Northern lands was her loveliness, and in her face was a shining light. In those days the Great Enemy, of whom Sauron of Mordor was but a servant, dwelt in Angband in the North, and the Elves of the West coming back to Middle-earth made war upon him to regain the Silmarils which he had stolen; and the fathers of Men aided the Elves. But the Enemy was victorious and Barahir was slain, and Beren escaping through great peril came over the Mountains of Terror into the hidden Kingdom of Thingol in the forest of Neldoreth. There he beheld Luthien singing and dancing in a glade beside the enchanted river Esgalduin; and he named her Tinuviel, that is Nightingale in the language of old. Many sorrows befell them afterwards, and they were parted long. Tinuviel rescued Beren from the dungeons of Sauron, and together they passed through great dangers, and cast down even the Great Enemy from his throne, and took from his iron crown one of the three Silmarils, brightest of all jewels, to be the bride-price of Luthien to Thingol her father.

Hi
Is it true Michael that Prince August is not allowed to produce figs from all Tolkien books?

Hi
As is said before, beside Turin, no figs from the first age are available. I would really appreciate a scene from The Lay of Leithian when Luthien and Huan just defeated Sauron and rescued Beren. Luthien, the only daughter of King Thingol of Doriath and Melian the Maia, and said to be the fairest Elf to have ever lived (a new challenge for Chris) is knee over Beren wounded. Huan the hound is beside Luthien looking at her. ;D

I vote for Sauron as Anatar. Too many LOTR figures for me. Tolkien wrote better books as the Silmarillion, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and unfinished tales. Thijl

VOTING RESTARTS TODAY August 24th until September 7th. Due to the problems with the Luthien votes , we waited until Chris returned from holidays today and checked with Tolkien Enterprises rules. Luthien cannot be made as she and Beren are not really part of the LOTR but only referred to. They are truly Silmarillion. Good morning What a pity Beren and Luthien were removed . How do you deal with the whole Turin series? So I vote Sauron as Annatar. thijl

Should be a relatively cheap figure for once... Is cost really a problem for Mithril Colectors? I will start a thread about mithril pricing in the general forum. Thijl

I suggest Amroth, the former king of Lorien standing alone, his hair in the wind looking at the sea while waiting for Nimrodel.

Frodo give farewell to Sam WITH all the ring bearers beside him (Bilbo, Cirdan, Galadriel and Gandalf) I know it will be a very large scene more fitted for a box :Pbut this very last and emotional scene of LOTR.
“Well, here at last, dear friends, on the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship in Middle-earth. Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.”

HI If Huan is to pose copyright issue by the end of the day , a vignette with Beren injured and Luthien will be also great . Thijl

Er, I'm puzzled - the Beren and Luthien incident is from the Silmarillion if it includes Huan. He isn't referred to in LOTR at all. Surely this vignette would therefore present Mithril with the usual Christopher Tolkien copyright problems? HI The story of Beren and Luthien is told by Aragorn in the LOTR. Thijl Strider sighed and paused before he spoke again. 'That is a song,' he said, 'in the mode that is called ann-thennath among the Elves, but is hard to render in our Common Speech, and this is but a rough echo of it. Hi all ;D
Beren & Luthien was never crafted in the Mithril range. What about a vignette depicting Luthien and Haun with Beren just free from his cell, Thu's corpse lying dead.

Hi
The problem is about copyright as I was told. Prince August may only cast LOTR figures. I propose Beren and Luthien in the fellowship forum as new vignette as Aragorn mentionned them in the books.

Hi all of you
Except the Turin series, figs from the first age are inexistent despite the fact a lot of important characters may be designed. Figs I really wish to see are Faenor, his spouse and their seven sons:
Maedhros Maglor Celegorm Caranthir Curufin Amrod Amras
