Hi everybody
barliman: Keep to the suggestion of Eorl! It's only time for him and I also whould like to see him among my collection!
Here is my suggestion this month:
A Dwarf Woman.
There is one figure there already, M161 Dis, Dwarf maiden. This is a very big secret, there are so many strong and fierceful Dwarf fighter's, traders and craftsmen, where do they come from? We know there were seven father's of dwarfs, created by the Valar Aule the smith. He made them of the earth and stone to teach them his skills. But where do the women and children come from? It is not known.
The Dwarves themselves keep this secret about their womenkind and there are rumours that there are no dwarf women, because they have beards too.
Whouldn't it be great to have a glimspe to this secret with a fellowship special?
A indigenous beautiful dwarf woman with braids and without scarf around her chin. Maybe there is a kind of beard... (– although at Dis I think it was very clever of Chris to keep the secret in this way.) Maybe there whould be a dwarf boy playing along at her feet. Or do they have Twins, as dwarf children are very rare? Chould be a single miniature it the boy is very close to the feet of his mom or she has him in her arms like the mother of Bree (M392)
The other way it may be a female Dwarf Fighter, armoured in they way of her folk and with the typical weapons axe or hammer.
So long, I'm looking forward for the other's suggestions!!!

Hi everybody In a few days I will have my winning suggestion couple Eowyn and Faramir in my hands... can't await it and looking forward to this moment very, very happily! Thanks again for all support, fellows! ) I hope you are as satisfied with the charming result as I am! So from my side this month no new suggestion, BUT ALL SUPPORT from my side too - It's time for EORL THE YOUNG! Galloping from the north and blowing a mighty Horn! Horns, Horns, Horns! Great Horns from the north! Go Eorlingas, forth! Greetings from the Borders of Black Forest the Great from Germany!

It seem's to be the first tie in our votings!
Well, Chris has the final say.
Eorl was first in suggestion for many months, so I personally hope he will made it, There are more months to vote - Gilraen is great too, and Arathorn has to follow to complete the family - soon. But only Eru knows what next great suggestions will come...

My vote has gone to Beorn, love to see him fighting!
Good chance – Hope he win's – But none call tell what the morning and new day brings, as Aragorn tells the Uruk Hai at Helm's Deep!
Tibbo76: There is a vintage miniature with a sled from ral partha existing , pulled by 3 polar-bears. But sure the time will come for the Lossoth!
I'm curious about the next months suggestions, sure the lossoth hunter and the Ent will be there again.

Hi everybody! – Hmm very difficult to decide this month....
My first round vote goes to fighting Beorn-bear this time, he's one of my favorites from The Hobbit and will surely give a great vignette. Yeah Beorn - Crush the stinking orc!
If the funeral Boat win's it whould be great if Boromir's body and weapons whould be cast seperately, we could use the smart elven boat(s) for other dioramas as well. But think: we have the dying Boromir already...
I also like the lossoth sled and whould support it the second round voting if Boen doesn't make it so far. But Just a comment: As far as I know, dog sleds are NOT guided by reins and whips, but by VOICE! Dogs are not horses and sled dogs are crazy about running by nature! I whould never beat my dog with a whip! – leaves more freedom for the lossoth Hunter figure in pose of action! Better a harpoon than a whip!
And the time of Helm's deep defence will come!

Hi everybody! Here comes my suggestion for may: MADNESS! "The pyre of Denethor" We have one Denethor figure so long, sitting in front of the throne on his little black chair, but no standing one. I have to vision of the scene: Denethor standing on the Pyre with the palantir in him hands and the mad expression on his face. The pyre on a tiled floor base with the wood and some fire. or the moments before that happening: An awesome vignette of Denethor with a dagger and holding the Palantir along with TATA: Beregond and Pippin. Beregond defending the wounded Faramir on a bier against his insane father, tended by Pippin and if it don't beats the price, Gandalf the White is with them. (should be easy to make the prye for a diorama by ourselves) I found some reference: 'At those words Denethor's eyes flamed again, and taking the Stone under his arm he drew a knife and strode towards the bier. But Beregond sprang forward and set himself before Faramir.' J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings, Book 5, Chapter 7: The Pyre of Denethor elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/a/n/anke/pyre_of_denethor_elf.jpg.htmlCheers, Harald

Yeah, I agree with the other fellows, who want to see Halbarad! He is still missing to my collection and so I vote for him too.
And I agree with opou about suggestions for single or at least a couple of figures, I am a full blooded collector full of understanding and love for special mithril miniatures but if the (realistic) price of a vignette is always going to be the same as for a dragon, I will not be able keep up, I'm sorry.
What do the other fellowship members think about making vignettes only every 4th or 6th month, and keep the mean times with suggestions for beloved special single figure characters like Cirdan, Bombur or Queen Beruthiel?
So long, Harald Wolf from Germany

Hi, my suggestion is Lady Galadriel like M1 or as in "the Mirror of Galadriel" whould be great with flowing elven garments and cape, and playing an elvish harp, as in the books described when the fellowship was leaving Lothlorien.
I also suggest a figure of Halbarad Dunadan, holding the Banner made by Arwen Evenstar. I know GW has such a figure, but Chris can do it better!
Cheers from Germany, Harald Wolf

Hi Folks!
Halbarad Dunadan is one of my favorite charakters, though he dies in Battle on the Pelennor fields... so my vote was clear, but of course I also whould like to see Sauron sculpted.
Cheers to all fellow collectors, Harald
PS: The new Smaug looks feroucios, Wow! Great work!

*** ELDARION ***
Hi, Fellow Collectors! My suggestion for september is: How about Eldarion? The son of King Elessar and his Queen Arwen Evenstar. There is no Mithril figure of him produced so far. I think of him as grown-up figure for september
Maybe there will be in the sooner future a chance to make a vignette of the whole family. King Elessar & Queen Arwen very proud and Eldarion as a teenager, also with two or three beautiful little sisters of him around, maybe one sweety on King Elessars arm...
Cheers and happy voting, Harald from Germany

Hello My suggestion this month is Beregond, citadel guard of minas Tirith. There is a chrismas figure of him, but no 32 mm scale yet, I believe.
And there is Bergil missing his father in our collections
By the way, Helm Hammerhand is in fact a really good idea and I also whould support him. But I whould prefer a position of the figure that you don't see he's dead, maybe perhaps. And the point that he has eathen manflesh is a rumour of the dunlendings. I think that even a folk that breed HORSES whould eat them first, how beloved as they are or not, rather that eat mankind. So I don't like the suggestion of human bones at the feet of him... Whould make him too creepy.
So long,vote wisely!
Best, Harry

Hi and a Happy New Year of miniature collecting and hunting to all my fellow mithril collectors!
Anyone outside ther living in Germany too? Lasst mal was von euch hören!!!
My suggestion is: How about Eowyn and Faramir together? At the moment when they met in the houses of healing. There are only two figures each of them, Eowyn in wargear mounted and on foot fighting the Lord of the Nazgul Faramir as soldier and ranger... What about the female side of the white Lady of Rohan? So this is my vision: Eoywn in long gown and the dark blue star embroidered mantle of Faramir's and Boromir's mother & Faramir in royal garment side by side, with their hair - golden and raven - tangled in the breeze...
Cheers to all, Harald from Germany

hi there, very nice suggestions! Here is my one: I am thinking of the fellowship after all that Rohan, Mordor and Gondor scenes! How about the final farewell scene at the grey havens?
Gandalf the white with the Ring Narya visible, Shadowfax standing behind him, In front of him standing Frodo kissing his beloved Sam on him forehead and his hands on Sams shoulders (with missing finger on his left hand of course) – or hugging Sam maybe Pippin and Merry with sad expressions also are included in the scene The base could be a piece of a quayside floor with a elven style bollard
Elrond, Galadriel and old Bilbo whould complete the scene, Cirdan is already on the move, but I think that whould be too big for a vignette. And they are already existing to be fitted in a nice diorama.
Namarie – a grey ship passes into the west, and all turns to silver glass...
otherwise that whoulk also be a very nice theme for a 10 package release, if my suggestion doesn't touches your hearts...
And I whould just mention my suggestions from the beginning of our gold status fellowship in July last year again: (As you can see in the gallery page from july 2005) Standing Eomer figure, Eowyn in royal gown (golden hall) Cirdan the shipwright (grey havens) Beregond, Citadel guard, Gandalf the white with Ring Narya, Lady Galadriel with Harp, Standing Denethor with Palantir Merry as esquire of Rohan on Pony Stybba, Legolas & Gimli on horseback, Arod, Strider on horseback, Hasufel, Thorin, Balin & Bilbo talking to Roac, the Raven & the trush. Gandalf & Bilbo talking to Beorn on his veranda or in the yard with horse, Mayor of Laketown sitting on his chair.
Thanks for reading, Harald

Now it's the time for Helm! the horn shall ring in the vale!
But have patience, my friends: Merry, Erestor, Beregond and the snow-troll will come! It think the new released Troll Captain will satisfy us a while, he is really awesome!

Hi
Thanks to all who support Eowyn and Faramir!
I am very excited every time I log in and watch the voting, surprise every time!
As for this tight race I was just thinking: Why don't we skip the next 2 months easily suggesting and just let do Chis the winning suggestion for april, the second in May and the third in June?
For it seems that this month all three suggestions are really wanted. – We whould have a extraordinary single mini with the Lossoth hunter, a bigger one with the Ent (Huuooom hoooooooom!) , and a romantic couple for the soul in us with the Lady of Rohan & the Prince of Ithilien!
What do my fellow collectors think about that possibility? Cheers, Harry
PS: I'm really curious to the final result of voting!

hi everyone!
Yeah, this is the most thrilling race of voting so far! And it is really hard to decide...
All three suggestions are great and I whould say let's keep to the other two suggestions after Aprils vote for future single minis – I think we all want all three figures, don't we?
I have voted for my suggestion Eowyn and Faramir, the Loving couple, because I think the Ladies shouldn't be forgotten.
But I also like to see the calling Ent - although I personally whould be satisfied with the size of it fitting to the other mithril Ents, whould look strange if much bigger than treebeard with Hobbits and it should not beat Sauron in price! (please not such a huge one like the treebeard of the other miniature maker) Think of our beloved miniature range!
And the Lossoth hunter whould also be great!
Vote wisely, Cheers!

Hello collector fellows! I think it's time for a female figure once more, for there are much Men released yet.
My suggestion for this month whould be Eowyn and Faramir at the houses of healing again. I see them as a couple like the one from the Turin series, Morwen and Nienor: Two figures close to each other on one base. With entangled hairs and flowing cloaks. It whould be a great fellowship figure when done by Chris.
Cheers and happy voting!

There is a family still not complete without LADY CELEBRIANI put in a suggestion again I had already some time ago and that was liked much: A character, that wasn't released so far: We have miniatures of Elrond, Elrohir & Elladan and Arwen already, but there is one missing to complete the family: Lady Celebrian! fair haired daughter of Galadriel & Celeborn, wife of Elrond and mother of the twin brothers and Lady Arwen For inspiration, check this out: www.lasgalen.net/Ebe/Celebrian.jpgThere is the story, that she travelled once from Rivendell to Lorien and she and her travelling party were attacked and captured by cruel orcs. Celebrian was rescued quickly by her brave sons, healed from a serious arrow wound by Elrond. But she got sad of middle-earth, so she went over the sea to the undying lands and left middle-earth some time ago. So how about a nice single female elven figure of Celebrian, either in Lorien or in Rivendell. Perhaps taking a walk in the gardens with some flowers in her hands... Cheers, Hwolf

...a mounted knight is 2 figures already - Horse and rider + the combatant Hillmen-King... and what if the Hillman is mounted too? Gandalf and Gwaihir will be 2 figures too... ) (that will be easier to cast in pewter I think...) but let's see who wins... exitement raises...

Hi Folks - Yeah it's time for a Gold fellowship Gandalf figure… with great eagle the better! I wonder if he will be mounted on the great bird or dangling from the talons?
But all the other suggestions are worthy to be kept in mind and resuggested again.

Yes buddies, go on suggesting the trolls: Euro 29,95 each - 60 Euros alltogether - best in a row... Balin of Moria - Tar-Minastir - Lady Celebrian - Arathorn - Bert the Troll so far: Is this the point when no more new single figure suggestions are coming in? we only discuss squirrels and trolls here? (me included of course...) - just a tought, anybody is free to suggest what he/she wants...

Congrats to the successful troll and thanks to all supporters of the elven lady last month, two votes less enough...
Now let's see how long the other both trolls take to be suggested and to win, start to put money aside, folks And again, I don't loose hope because there is a numerous part of collector fellows who also want to see Elronds wife released: LADY CELEBRIAN WITH SQUIRRELNow the suggestion is Celebrian with flowers in her golden hair, sitting comfortably on a grassy surface dotted with flowers, stroking or feeding a cute little Rivendell squirrel on her knee... I will send a sketch for the gallery to Mike Celebrian is a character, that wasn't released so far: We have miniatures of Elrond, Elrohir & Elladan and Arwen already, but there is one missing to complete the family: Lady Celebrian - fair haired daughter of Galadriel & Celeborn of Lothlorien wife of Elrond and mother of the twin brothers and Lady Arwen There is the story, that she travelled once from Rivendell to Lorien and she and her travelling party were attacked and captured by cruel orcs. Celebrian was rescued quickly by her brave sons, healed from a serious arrow wound by Elrond. But she got sad of middle-earth, so she went over the sea to the undying lands and left middle-earth some time ago. Cheers and happy suggesting, Hwolf

good ones Bombadil and Theobald!
As for I see it, I don't think that some members realize that the mithril minis are sculpted by one (1!) single man, and a still good one.
- Not many sculptors as in other metal miniature figurine companies from UK, France or US!
Folks we are months back with gold fellowship releases, why always it must be the biggest ones and most expensive miniatures which need much time in sculpting and producing when there is a single figure month?
does anyone think about this when voting or suggesting?
