hi collector fellows!
You make me really to think hard about the decision whom to give my vote!
I will have to sleep about that, honestly.
But where are all the hidden fans of " He is" ? I wonder.

TOM BOMBADIL with the ONE RING
From Lord of the Rings Book 1 "In the House of Tom Bombadil":
Tom Bombadil took the 4 Hobbits to his house after the rescue from old man willow While the talking by the fireside there was this breathtaking key scene when Tom Bombadíl asked Frodo to show him the One Ring, got it from the Hobbit held it before his eye, put it on his finger and DID NOT become invisible... Then he flung the Ring into the air, and the Ring vanished in a flash...
He is.
As Frodo got the Ring back, he was suspicious and put on the Ring to try, and the Hobbit became invisible... wasn't seen by his Hobbit fellows but he was seen by Tom Bombadil even so!...
I imagine Tom as single miniature standing with the Precious between his fingers holding it in front of his bright blue eye (paint job) or even on his little Finger, He should not be to slender, the fellowship miniature MS297 of Tom with the badgers is superb.
Cheers, Hwolf

Poor Mauhur!
for in that case he will first be hunted down by all animals and birdies drowned by River-woman and finally eaten by all the angry trees of the Old Forest, while Master Tom is dancing and singing around all the time!
A tie, I wonder what will be now? Some buddies out there waiting for the last second? The ebay influence?

Me too really wants to see more Ents.... and it's not easy to decide
but my support this time goes to Gildor and the King!
But ever mind, fellows, only a matter of time for Beechbone, Mauhur, Tom Bombadil, Warg rider standard-Bearer...

maybe the flames could be additional? Not the whole Ent should be on fire... At the casting attached like usually weapons and shields..., so we could choose to have the ent with or without fire if he manages to win?
He is.

Sorry if the fellowship members are disappointed that the wolf rider didn't get enough votes, but where have the people been, who didn'd vote in the second round, I wonder? But that is not the end of the world, just resuggest it. only a matter of time
There are wolf-riders that can be converted to be a banner bearer but only one mounted wizard yet.
And even so a Wolf has won...
Heads up, fellows!

hallo Sammler-Kollegen!
Rodgau ist auch für mich erreichbar... ;o)
Ja, auch meiner Meinung nach ist die Lady Celebrian sehr schön geworden, mal sehen, wie Sie im original aussieht!
Hat sich also gelohnt, sie immer wieder vorgeschlagen zu haben.

my opinion on this:
Mithril should make the chariot as a boxed set, as a regular release - same way as the Mumakil of the Haradrim. Chould even be a assembled and painted version for sale also. Style of Angus McBride, that whould be so cool. The Base chould be of resin as with the lord of the Nazgul vignette. Not as a Fellowship release. Cheers, Hwolf

Hi fellows, see: vacation time! ;O) and our Webmaster Mike has deserved some holidays also.
This will be a tight race, I bet.
LOL about that cat maybe with Radagast, I do not really believe it will be so much loyal to follow the fellow But his favorite messengers – Birds – have no problem to follow a horse! But without bird our even cat; I whould love to see him be produced
But the other suggestions are worhy too, and no matter who wins, it will be great
My last winning suggestion Lady Celebrian, Master Elrond Halfelven's wife is just beautiful...
cheers, Hwolf

Radagast Mounted
Radagast the Brown wizard mounted on Horseback, searching for Gandalf in the shire/Eriador...
how whould it be to see a nature-loving wizard's fashion of riding a horse? like the elves I bet....
From Lord of the Rings, Fellowship of the Ring, Council of Elrond Gandalf's story about his travels and capture at Orthanc Tower
It was decided that Frodo would leave the Shire after his birthday on September 22 and head for Rivendell with Samwise Gamgee. On May 1, Gandalf met Aragorn at Sarn Ford and informed him of this plan. At the end of June he made another reconnaissance trip to the southern border, intending to return in a few days. But he heard rumors of war and of the Black Shadow, so he went northeast along the Greenway towards Bree, where he encountered a fellow Wizard, Radagast the Brown.
Radagast told Gandalf that Saruman had sent him with the news that the Nine Nazgul were seeking the Shire. Gandalf decided to go see Saruman at once. He told Radagast to alert the birds and the beasts to gather news of the Nazgul and bring it to Isengard. Gandalf then spent the night in at the Prancing Pony and gave the innkeeper Barliman Butterbur a message to be delivered to Frodo urging him to leave the Shire at once. Unbeknownst to Gandalf, the message was forgotten and never delivered.
When Gandalf arrived at Isengard, he discovered that Saruman had become corrupted by the desire for power. Saruman suggested to Gandalf that they join forces with Sauron or take the One Ring for themselves. When Gandalf refused, Saruman imprisoned him on the pinnacle of Orthanc. From there Gandalf could see that Saruman had destroyed the gardens of Isengard and replaced them with machinery and an army of Orcs and Wargs.
Wizards are rare or missing in GF range

Yes Go Bombur go! Cheers Hwolf
For Hervé from french wikipedia:
Bilbo le Hobbit
Auteur J. R. R. Tolkien Genre Fantasy Version originale Titre original The Hobbit, There and Back Again

I suggest the Dorwinian wine trader one more.
I agree with bombadil1963 and keep out of this discussion. I'm not sure if this is the right place here. to write: no suggestion, no vote is ok, but all that talking should be in another place.
I hope that this crisis will not destroy the GF. Though for me at the moment I have to keep an eye on my expenses too like all people at the moment, I think. I was used to buy every single release 1 at least, the ones I liked most double and more.

Me too have suggested a watcher of Cirith Ungol once and it was deleted by mistake it for the watcher in the water at the West Gate of Moria I also like the idea but in a single miniature month it is definetly too big because it sits on a Throne. (My opinion)
Folks keep in mind that the single figure months is for Chris Tubb to keep up. The more regular the suggestions are at the moment, the sooner we will have maybe a vignette or mounted figure suggestion month again.
Cheers

My suggestion:
Dorwinion wine trader
still missing in the mithril range and to go with lake town miniatures or the halls of the Elven-King miniatures from the Hobbit
Remember: If the Elves hadn't that favour for good Dorwinion wines, Galion the butler and the captain of the elven guard whould not have got drunk and felt asleep, so Bilbo whouldn't had the chance to burgle the keys, unlock Thorin's Company and free the 13 Dwarves by putting them into barrels!
DORWINION ("Wineland") This area of middle earth, located east of Mirkwood, where the running river meets the River Carnen, and the plains of Rhun is a very vertile landscape. The people are the trading companions to Laketown, Erebor the Realm of the Elvenking and even Gondor in the south. The best wines of middle earth come from this area.
So the well-shaped trader should be dressed in rich garments, holding a embroidered cup of wine for tasting in one hand and maybe a flagon/bottle or a purse/moneybag in the other hand. He also should have some bags for further trade goods.
cheers, HWolf

Where does Thuringwethil appear in the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit? I always thought she appears in another story of J. R. R. ....
But a nice suggestion anyway - don't want to be the kill-joy

Estel I believe all nine Ring-Wraiths are Black Numenoreans. The One that became the Witch-King definitely is.
Gothmog, Lieutenant of Minas Morgul may be a Black Numenorean
The Corsairs of Umbar have Black Numenorean roots.
But nevertheless a great suggestion

First of all Many Thanks to all members who voted for Celebrian – she finally made it and I want to encourage all other club members to resuggest their favourites if they don't make it a month!
I whould remind collector fellows and new members to have a look at Axels awesome overview list of previous suggestions: mithrilfigures.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=july2005&action=display&thread=159
My suggestion this time: King Elessar in Royal Armour at the Morannon GateFacing the Mouth of Sauron or commanding his host of the West. I think that whould be a great miniature without doubt. Cheers and bring up great suggestions Folks!

Folks – keep in mind to suggest Fighting Eowyn in the next months, for She was suggested to match the now winning Witch-King... Otherwise it won't make much sense to get another Witch-King now...
For me – it' s always good to see more women in the mithril miniature range!

Yes, thousand thanks to Michael for the great job He does!
I suggest that we should make a voting month where only smaller figures such as Dwarves or Hobbits are to be suggested.
Why not?
Hobbits are the main characters of the stories and Dwarves are always short in numbers
And perhaps it will help Chris a bit, doing a smaller figure one month

My suggestions: 1. Celebrian, wife of Master Elrond Halfelven – of course – I do not loose hope to see her released... She could be also dancing in fine elven garments... Celebrian is an Elven noblewoman, the daughter of Celeborn and Galadriel, wife of Elrond, and mother of Elrohir, Elladan and Arwen. She was referred to as Lady of Rivendell. Her name means "silver queen" in Sindarin. 2. Propely sized, wealthy Wine Trader from Dorwinion offering a winecup and with a flagon in his other hand & a fat purse at his belt, Dorwinion people are still missing in the Mithril range. * * * * * PS: Happy Christmas-Time everyone!!! * * * * *
