Second try for the Dead, thanks for the great support, fellows! perhaps it is just the right way, first the victory of the Living, then the Dead... DEAD RIDER ON DEAD HORSE from the paths of the DeadI suggest of course again the ghost rider. just as a mounted figure this month In my mind the ghostly horse and warrior should not be just moving bones, but more haggard or gaunted bodies with ragged gear. ( Remember the poor dudes haven't had any food or drink for many years... cursed oathbreakers! ) Have a look: www.mithril.ie/Fellowship/gallery.htmlCheers! Hwolf

For my part I keep to my ghostly rider, as there is no such thing there yet.
Aragorn and Eomer meeting in battle is great, and if they win I will be pleased also.
Two Silent Watchers as big as Sauron at Gorgoroth! (all smaller whould not fit these strange creatures/ animated statues) and perhaps some arch of the gate and little Sam between them, defeating the watchers with Galadriel's Phial, No doubt a great vision - whould of course be the first boxed set of the fellowship! But if I think what has happened with the Gate of Moria...
Howsoever it ends, it ends good! Hwolf

Thanks, fellows
If I figure it out as MERP/MERS defines these creatures, so in the MERP universe these camel/dromedary type animals are called Deve (plural Devevi) There are two breeds in the south of middle earth: the runners with one hump on the back and the slower, but stronger workers with two humps on the back. There is also a rare and most prized breed that is called Deve Poa in the roleplay, which is a two humped runner.
I trust in Chris Tubb in the end how it will look like, if the Haradrim should be succesful... Harry

Hi fellows! and many Thanks to Michael, the webmaster! The icy North (Lossoth hunter the month ago) and the hot South! GO Haradrim GO!!! And another Picture in our gallery page, the cover of MERP sourcebook Greater Harad, which I also used for inspiration... If you haven't had a glimpse already how the Haradrim could look like, try out this one: www.mithril.ie/Fellowship/gallery.htmlfor the existing mithril camel rider you can go to: mmp.perilousrealm.com/reference/masterresults.php?tolkienflag=all&sortby=sortno+ASC and scroll down to M73 Caravan Guard Mounted on Camel. If you click on M73 you will see pictures unpainted and painted Greetings, Hwolf PS: Angbor the fearless will come, and the Horn-blowing Rohirrim also...! I want to see them in my collection too!

Yep, I also have the MERP 2nd Ed corebook!
Wasn't that Widugavia?I think he was a the leading person... allright with me, either a male or female Dorwinrim – I leave it to Chris, should there be enough support.
But in any case, I'ld like to see Chris' imagination of the Dorwinrim, although the illustration in the MERP sourcebook is nice, with the old couple and the baby.

hello everyone!
My suggestion this month is a figure, missing in the mithril range so far also: One of the inhabitants of Dorwinion:
I suggest a WEALTHY TRADER FROM DORWINION ("Wineland")
This area of middle earth, located east of Mirkwood, where the running river meets the River Carnen, and the plains of Rhun is a very vertile landscape. The people are the trading companions to Laketown, Erebor the Realm of the Elvenking and even Gondor in the south. The best wines of middle earth come from this area.
So the trader should be dressed in rich garments, holding a embroidered cup of wine for tasting in one hand and maybe a decanter or a purse/moneybag in the other hand. He also should have some bags for further trade goods.
Cheers! hwolf

Hi fellowship members! NUMEN for the WEST: still worth a thought of a fitting figure... (Elendil, Isildur, Anarion, Black Numenorian....) FORMEN for the NORTH: The Lossoth hunter has a good chance at the current vote... ROMEN for the EAST: the easterlings are already on the move, coming later this year... HYARMEN for the SOUTH: My suggestion idea for this month: a HARADRIM WARRIOR/CHAMPION mounted on trained WAR-CAMEL !!!Let's see: there is this this nice, precious figure M73 Caravan Guard Mounted on Camel, which is always rare and well chased at ebay's, lucky for the winner and seller, disappointing for all other collectors who don't get a grip on a copy of M73... So how about a new fitting comrade and "new chance to own" release of the camel-rider? I have got in mind an Haradrim champion fighter/warrior ready to strike with his scimitar/spear, sitting on the back of a charging, somehow light armoured dromedary... The figure should be a little bigger than a horse rider, size about similar to the M73, for fitting in the mithril range. I have send a drawing of my imagination to Michael, (Thanks Mike! ) Have a look, fellows: www.mithril.ie/Fellowship/gallery.htmlEver seen a camel-race? – better get out of the way! ;o) A truly awesome, worthy addition for all pelennor fields battle scene dioramas and every mithril figure collection! Strenghten the army of Mordor! Time for a bad one again! See also the title of I.C.E MERP sourcebook "Greater Harad", but more in action please! Cheers and happy voting, hwolf

well spoken estel!
I also hope for a boxed release, or at least a M-range of Thorin & Co. including Bombur.
funny how things turn, the hobbitses seem not to have the fans like in the first vote. perhaps things turn again…
Difficult, very diffycult… do not be hasty… Hmmm, Elrond's sons are worthy fighting side by side, as I still have that rescuing their Mother Celebrian thing in mind, they whould fit there also.
But after elvenking + standardbearer just voted for, better some more random…
So I think, much more special and unique whould be the sounding Ent! Huuuuuuuoooommmmm-Hoooooooommmmmmmmmm! (And he was just like Eorl so near at the goal several times ago…)
Otherwise, this is a vignette month!!! d**n it - the ent could be a bigger single figures month, fellows!!!
However it ends, it ends good. hwolf

I think after all that Elvenking fighting and last month's elven suggestions also there are some Dunedain, Gondor and Mordor theme winners, so it's time for a nice vignette of the little people.
So my first round vote goes for Frodo, Sam and Smeagol/Gollum. I whould love to see Chris doing Rabbits and a campfire!
But the other suggestions are all worthy, too.
PS: I don't think Gollum eats cooked fish! – raw and wriggling! ;o)

not easy this time to vote…
It would be great to have an elven standart bearer, a missing mithril figure so far. A elvish sailor also very nice. But I always have loved and admired that dynamic noldo elven warrior from the Turin series with the two handed sword, so my choice is the mounted companion of him, and Chis is always good at sculpting the fitting horses.
i only wonder how Annatar should look like – a oversized elven figure?

good one submitted again Gildor!
But I think one important figure is missing in your scene: Hero Frodo. King Elessar wished that Frodo the ringbearer should bring the Crown to him and Gandalf should put it on his head. So a little great Hobbit shouldn't be forgotten standing beside the ceremony, perhaps with a pillow in his hands, where the precious crown was resting on…

hello everybody
my suggestion this month: One of the bad side again:
WRAITHS ON WINGS The servants of the Lord of the Rings.
a Nazgul on a flying fell beast.
We have that one in the witchking's boxed set, sitting on the slain horse of Theoden.
But what about one quite in flying action pose? Body, head and tail should fit to the existing fell beast but with a little bigger and thinner outspreaded wings it could be made of 5 to 6 parts. Base, body/tail of fell beast, 2 wings and the ringwraith rider. (the legs could be applied to the body piece.) Perhaps the tip of one wing is to be attached to a kind of cloudy or airy base, not the tail or a stick in the stomach like Landroval eagle so the flying pose whould be very dynamic
I think this shouldn't be to complex and expensive then… and should also fit in a Blister, not a box.
Cheers, Harald

David, go on suggesting some other elvish character! There are plenty ;-) The more voting choices we will have! And here is my elvish suggestion for this month: So there is another one character, that wasn't released so far: Lady Celebrian! fair golden haired daughter of Galadriel & Celeborn, wife of Elrond and mother of the twin brothers and Lady Arwen This month I use to suggest her mounted on a beautiful palfrey (in german: Zelter) on the jouney to Lorien (Palfreys were a noble breed of horses with a very comfortable kind of walking in the middle ages, to comfort the ladies on their jouneys and so also fitting for noble LotR elven ladies...) the neck of the horse is bowed like a swan neck and two legs are of ground each step.) so there whould be a mouted elven lady without armour in our collections... There is the story, that Celebrian travelled once from Rivendell to Lorien and was attacked and captured by cruel orcs. She was rescued by her brave sons immediately and healed by Elrond from a arrow wound, but she got sad of middle-earth, so she went over the sea to the undying lands and left middle-earth some time ago. She is described as tall, very beautiful and fair haired, and she loved peace, children and all beautiful things and had a loathing for cruel things and warfare. If I find some time I will send a scetch to Michael for the gallery pages. Go on suggesting and vote wisely! Cheers, Harald

and there are already Gil-galads on horse, with Sauron( fellowship) and a beautiful one in the limited five ringbearers range…!

HAPPY NEW YEAR first of all! New year, new luck!
By the way, it was the SILENT WATCHER of the tower of Cirith Ungol, not the watcher in the water! however, I will resuggest it later - very good choices ...
My first round goes to the elven lady, not released yet.
Vote wisely!

Hello fellowship members!
First of all: Congrats to gilgaladtolkien for the suggestion of Thranduil in Battle gear, now we all can look forward to the special Elf-lord!
Thanks to all who gave their support to Celebrian last time.
So for the great sympathy for her, here comes my other idea as a vignette this month:
I suggest the DRAMATICAL RESCUE OF CELEBRIAN BY ELLADAN AND ELROHIR FROM THE ORCS
The story: Lady Celebrian, daughter of Galadriel & Celeborn, wife of Elrond and mother of the twin brothers and Lady Arwen travelled once from Rivendell to Lorien (I wonder what may have happened to her companions, sure she didn't travel alone...) and was attacked and captured by cruel orcs. She was rescued soon afterwards by her brave sons. She got a poisoned wound from the orcs (curse 'em!) at the capture, was fortunedly healed by her husband but got sad of middle-earth, so she went over the sea on a ship to the undying lands and left middle-earth.
So the vignette could show Celebrian (maybe her garments are a little bit ragged – blackhides are not gentle...) fleeing, or better protected by one of her sons, Bow or sword ready while the other Twin is fighting at least one attacking orc. (If that 4 figure vignette should extend the costs too much, we have enough orcs to complete the scene, I think... although in Thorins Thomb there are 4 figures also, smaller ones, okay...)
I imagine Elrohir and Elladan in ranger stuff instead of armour, with swords, daggers and Bows armed, shouting in anger. so we whould have the matching part to Elrohir from the House of Elrond series...
Cheers, Harald

BAD GUY IDEA
I was thinking of something else, that wasn't there from mithril so far like the moria gate:
A Silent Watcher!
Guardian of the Tower of Cirith Ungol Mysterious beings set to watch the road and guard the entrance to the Tower of Cirith Ungol. Though the Silent Watchers are never identified with certainty, it seems that the name probably refers to beings such as the Two Watchers, the triple-bodied, vulture-headed creatures that sat silently and malevolently within the archway of the Tower's gate.
This whould be a bigger single figure of course, but they need not the be of solid lead at the back side, but somehow strange and special! Even the base could be left out.
And with two of them, the entrance of Cirith Ungol tower whould be protected...
In case this suggestion is too big for a single figure my Alternate whould be: (I hope I don't break a rule...)
UFTHAK - an orc victim of Shelob!
He was a orc in the service of the Tower of Cirith Ungol, under the command of Shagrat. He was captured, poisoned and (presumably) eaten by Shelob, since his fellow Orcs made no attempt to rescue him.
So how about a nice figure of an poor orc warrior, captured and spun in some spider strings or cobweb - perhaps hanging upside down, it needs only a little bit of rocky environment - with weird twisted limbs and a strange, fearful look on his face in view of Shelobs horror... He could be a piece like the splendid Helm Hammerhand figure, from which you don't know if he is dead or alive?

GOOD GUY IDEA
Hello dear fellowship members! As in fact there was very much interrest for her in october voting, I resuggest a character, that wasn't made by Chris so far:
LADY CELEBRIAN, Daughter of Galadriel & Celeborn, wife of Elrond and mother of the twin brothers and Lady Arwen
The story about her is that she travelled once from Rivendell to Lorien and was attacked, captured and tormented by cruel orcs. She was rescued by her brave sons but she got sad of middle-earth, she was healed by her husband Elrond the Loremaster from a wound of an orc arrow, but she got sad of middle-earth, so she went over the sea to the undying lands and left middle-earth some time ago.
Time to complete the family of Elrond!
Cheers and Happy Chrismas-Time! Harald

Hello alltogether!
Thanks for the great support of Celebrian! If she doesn't make it this time, I will suggest her as a vignette, rescued by her sons from the orcs.
The lossoth hunter seems to be of more interest as a vignette also...
I will be pleased either with Celebrian or with Thranduil in battle pose anyway...

hello collector fellows! well, difficult, very difficult. many good suggestions, how to vote? I like that Barliman ready to defent idea, but it whould fit better as a vignette with at least Gandalf, + maybe Frodo and Sam. Castamir is great, but should be released together with Eldacar, the rightful King, the latter missing in our collections also... Arwen will come, Roac will come... The Lossoth Hunter has a good chance this time I think, but what about as a vignette with sled? Thranduil fighting is fantastic too, but my first round vote goes to Lady Celebrian, my own suggestion. If she doesn't make it, I will suggest her Rescue as a Vignette next month! Imagine: we could have in one release Celebrian, wife of Elrond, rescued by her twin sons in ranger garb ), fighting at least one stinking orc! Cheers, Harald

Hello dear fellowship members!
At first I was thinking to keep to hold on my suggestion of Lady Galadriel with harp, but it doesn't seem`s many interest for her at the moment. So I will keep her in mind for the future
So there is another one character, that wasn't released so far: We have miniatures of Elrond, Elrohir & Elladan and Arwen already, but there is one missing to complete the family:
Lady Celebrian! daughter of Galadriel & Celeborn, wife of Elrond and mother of the twin brothers and Lady Arwen
As I know, there is the story, that she travelled once from Rivendell to Lorien (or the other way, I'm not sure – doesn't matters anyway...) and was attacked and captured by cruel orcs. she was rescued by her brave sons but she got sad of middle-earth, so she went over the sea to the undying lands and left middle-earth some time ago.
So how about a nice single female elven figure of Celebrian, either in Lorien or in Rivendell. Standing or sitting, perhaps with some flowers...
... another idea whould be her dramatical rescue itself... (but I have uncomplainingly to keep that suggestion for a vignette month...)
Go on suggesting and vote wisely!
Harald from germany
PS: I'm just back from a holiday in Ireland and hooray! - I have visited our Prince August/Mithril factory, have met Michael and all the people there, saw how our beloved, precious miniatures are made. It was so fantastic and awesome! I had a great time there - so if you ever get a chance to come to Ireland, do the same!

Here is my suggestion for septembers single Miniature:
Time for a female figure again.
Lady Galadriel with elven harp, at the farewell scene from Lorien. You can have a look at our gallery page, I have send a sketch to Michael: I have drawn her frontside and backside very likely in the fashion of number M1. With that beautiful braid. The harp surely won't have that strings you can look though, perhaps it can be like that other elf girl's harp or better with sculpted strings like that Prince August Bard.
She is singing of leaves of Gold and the beautiful song that ends with Namarie

well, almost all great suggestions and worthly to be released sometimes, but my heart speaks clearly THIS TIME: Beregond it is. I am a great fan of this character too and there is a Bergil mini who is missing his Dad...
If he should fit to that MX Troll then there whould be Pippin in fighting pose missing, because it's a regular one that goes with Bergil I whould leave it to Chis which pose it will be, and I dont expect it whould just be a small copy of that 54 mm one
I also do not collect the bigger figures, except the Fellowship of the Ring, Galadriel and Saruman, that I possess so far

My suggestion this month is: The Friendship of Legolas and Gimli in the Glittering Caves of Aglarond
...Strange are the ways of men, Legolas! Here they have one of the marvels of the northern World, and what do they say of it? Caves, they say! Caves! Holes to fly to in time of war, to store fodder in! My good Legolas, do you know that the caverns of Helm’s Deep are vast and beautiful?...
...Immeasurable halls, filled with an everlasting music of water that tinkles into pools, as fair as Kheled-zâram in the starlight. And Legolas, when the torches are kindled and men walk on the sandy floor under echoing domes, ah! then, Legolas, gems and crystals and veins of precious ore glint in the polished walls, and the light glows though folded marbles, shell-like, translucent as the living hands of Queen Galadriel. There are columns of white and saffron and dawn-rose, Legolas, fluted and twisted into dreamlike forms, they spring up from many coloured floors to meet the glistening pendants of the roof; wings, ropes, curtains fine as frozen clouds, spears, banners, pinnacles of suspended palaces! Still lakes mirror them: a gleaming world looks up from dark pools covered with clear glass...
...You move me, Gimli! said Legolas, ‘I have never heard you speak like this before, almost you make me regret that I have not seen these caves. Come! Let us make a bargain – if we both return safe out of perils that await us, we will journey for a while together. You shall visit Fangorn with me, and then I will come with you to see Helm’s Deep.
That would not be the way of return that I should choose, said Gimli, ‘But I will endure Fangorn, if I have your promise to come back to the caves and share their wonder with me’ You have my promise’ said Legolas...
There are only four Legolas and three Gimli figures yet – What about a gold fellowship number showing the wondrous friendship of dwarves and elves? I imagine a vignette with Gimli and Legolas standing side by side on a piece of Cavern floor, both with some travelling gear and one or both with a torch in one hand - gazing astonished at some parts of cavern, (perhaps like the base of ‘Vengeance of Smaug’ but not as big and heavy) with some twisted stalagmites (about 2 inches high at most) and some part of dreamlike folded formation of limestone and small geodes of crystals, perhaps a small basin of water in the ground.
This could be the centerpiece of a fantastic cavern diorama or would be in any case wonderful to be painted... I would love to see Chris sculpting something like that.
I will see if I can send a sketch to Michael... Cheers!
PS: If the suggestion doesn't gets much favour I will keep supporting Eorl!

hello fellow collectors!
Hmm, very difficult this time – and very strange indeed. Just some personal thoughts: (No bad meaning: All suggestion's time will come... )
The iron crowned witch-King (mounted on what? Horse? Think, there are already two of him: M3 Do we really want this club for doing remakes? and MS299 together with Gandalf at the gate of Minas Tirith.
Mounted on Fell beast? – really cool thought, but whould be a better boxed set, whouldn't it?
Gothmog? There is that really ugly GW orc version mounted on warg and on foot - are we influenced so much of the movie for the mithril figures?
The first round voting I am torn between Arathorn with son Aragorn (Whould indeed be splendid) and Denethor with Palantir.
But I have voted for Denethor this time: Think, we have only that sitting figure of him and I have suggested Denethor on the pyre a short time ago. Didn't got much support either. So I do support him now. A Palantir with Sauron inside whould be really hard to visualize – the burning eye on it's surface? And the mad expression on Denethor's face? - creepy! And think there is Saruman already with the Palantir of Orthanc (MC17), the very one displayed on Aragorns Hand after Saruman's downfall (MS423) The other seeing stones still existing are the one in Minas Tirith and the one of Minas Ithil, which passed into Saurons Hand. The other 4 are lost. The Palántiri are as legendary items as the Arkenstone, it's time to bring them into contact... And Denethor is a very interesting character in the novel and – Pity, he is shown so much dislikable in the movies. has to be so perhaps, but running on fire though the whole citadel is ridiculous...
If he doesn't makes it into second voting, My heart is with Arathorn and son.
So long, vote wisely!
It seem's the Lossoth hunter is desined to come in a regular release, I persoanally whould prefer that – think of the more
